The coating is only as good as the paint underneath it, so the appointment includes prep and polish before the coat goes on. The prep, the polish and the coat are done in one continuous appointment, planned at one to two days depending on how much prep the paint needs. That is why the Signature package, with single-stage correction included, is labelled ceramic-ready.
Coating work takes time and power. You provide an outdoor water tap, a standard outlet and room for two car spaces, and the detailer brings the polisher, lighting and everything else for the job.
